We can offer tours prior, during or after the safari to the West Coast which is two hours drive from us or to the Etosha National Park which is 3 hours drive from us and to Waterberg Game Reserve which is 1 ½ hours drive.
- At the coast you can experience the Namib dunes where you can take part in a quad adventure through the dunes or you can simply sit in the red soft sand and enjoy the view over the ocean, you can see the only aquarium with a see thru tunnel in Namibia, you can take part in a fishing adventure from the coast line or from boat or you can board a catamaran for some dolphin and seal viewing. If your interested in architecture Swakopmund offers magnificent old architectural buildings build in German style in the colonial years and there is also the wooden market for gifts. We recommended a two day trip with one overnight in Swakopmund.
- At the Etosha National Park a wide variety of species may be seen including Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Cheetah and a huge variety of plains game. In the evening you can sit at the water hole and observe the animals coming to drink. There are three lodges in Etosha namely Okakuejo, Halali and Namutoni.
- We recommend entering the South gate of Etosha and overnight at Okakuejo and then move through to Namutoni ( Which is an old castle with quite some history involved, there also is a small museum inside the castle.) One overnight at Namutoni and then move on the next day to Windhoek or the ranch. Out side of Namutoni we stop at Lake Otjikoto where there also is a lot of history involved from the German Colonial times.
- We recommend a good camera with strong light features, the flash doesn't work on the distance to the hole. We can also include an overnight at the Waterberg Game Reserve on our way back.
- At the Waterberg Game Reserve you can take part in a game drive on the Waterberg plateau and have a chance of seeing buffalo. The Waterberg Game Reserve is the only inland park in Namibia where buffalo can be viewed. There are a lot of mountain foot paths that can be explored. The Waterberg is covered with thick forest like vegetation and differs completely from the rest of the country.
